Waterdrop return policy: the short answer

Waterdrop takes returns within 30 days of receipt. Waterdrop calls its returns worry-free and risk-free, but you pay return shipping unless the return is for a quality issue, items not in like-new condition carry a 10% restocking fee, and Amazon orders are not covered. There is no free trial and no money-back guarantee; the 30-day return is what the store offers instead.

Return shipping, restocking fees and the continental US rule

Inside 30 days no restocking fee is charged on a like-new return, and Waterdrop covers return postage when the return is for a quality issue. A unit goes back disassembled and repackaged as received. After 30 days a return is still possible, with the shipping cost deducted from the refund and a 10% restocking fee. The 30-day return covers the continental United States only.

Waterdrop warranty: 1 year on most RO, 2 years on the X Series

Most Waterdrop RO systems carry a 1-year limited warranty, and eligible X Series systems a 2-year limited warranty. The product badges agree: the X12 and X16 show 2-Year, and the G3P600 and G3P800 show 1-Year. Lifetime technical support covers eligible models only.

A paid extended warranty excludes filters, which are consumables. Its operating limits are feed pressure of 14.5-87 psi, municipal tap water (well water needs pre-filtration), total dissolved solids (TDS) under 750 ppm and hardness under 7 grains per gallon. Waterdrop's FAQ gives 500 TDS for incoming water, so its pages differ.
