Waterdrop's G3P600 is a tankless reverse osmosis (RO) system at $539.00, while APEC's ROES-50 is a tank system at $230.99 and its tankless ROTL-A1000 is $599.00, all one-time prices as read on October 14, 2026. GPD means gallons per day: each maker's daily rating of the membrane, not the flow at the tap.

Tankless against tankless: G3P600 and ROTL-A1000

The G3P600 is rated 600 GPD at a 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio, which Waterdrop words as two cups of pure water for every cup of waste water, and is certified to NSF/ANSI 58 and 372 per Waterdrop. APEC rates the ROTL-A1000 at 1000 GPD, calls it NSF 372 and 58 certified, and says IAPMO tested and certified it.

The G3P600 needs one electrical outlet under the sink, per Waterdrop's page, and Waterdrop says its tankless design saves 70% of under-sink space. APEC lists the ROTL-A1000 at a rated voltage of 120V, so it is a powered unit too.

APEC's tank systems: ROES-50 and ROES-PH75

The ROES-50, $230.99, is rated 50 GPD and comes with a 4-gallon tank and a feed water pressure range of 40 to 85 psi. APEC says it is a WQA Gold Seal Certified System and has been tested for TDS (total dissolved solids) reduction. The ROES-PH75, $268.99, is an alkaline tank system rated 75 GPD.

Countertop: ROCT-C1 against Waterdrop's K19-SFK

APEC's ROCT-C1 is $499.00 and adds UV and chilled water, per APEC. Waterdrop's K19-SFK is $349.00, rated 75 GPD, holds 170 oz and, per Waterdrop, needs no drilling or installation; its page prints NSF/ANSI 58, and IAPMO R&T's directory lists the WD-K19-SFK-US under NSF/ANSI 58 with a TDS claim.

Returns and warranty

APEC accepts returns within 30 days from the invoice date and needs a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from APEC first. It gives a 1-year limited warranty on residential RO systems.
