Waterdrop whole house filter: the WHF3T-PG, WHF3T-FG and WHF2E systems

The whole-house models at a glance

As read on October 14, 2026, Waterdrop's WHF3T-PG was $369.99 and the WHF3T-FG $419.99, both rated 15 GPM, and both carry NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials only. Waterdrop's WHF3T-PG page claims it reduces 97.7% of chlorine, but its only certification line is NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials and its title says 3-stage while its spec says 7-stage.

A whole-house filter sits on the main water line and treats the water for every tap. The WHF3T-PG pairs a sediment filter with a carbon filter, and the WHF3T-FG is Waterdrop's model for iron and manganese.

The WHF3T and WHF2E lines compared

The WHF2E systems cost less: the 4-stage WHF2E-PC was $165.99 and the 5-stage WHF2E-FC $199.99, rated up to 15 GPM on the FC's spec. Waterdrop's WHF2E-FC page says it fits standard 1-inch FNPT inlet and outlet connections and that each filter provides up to 50,000 gallons or 6 months.

Waterdrop rates the WHF3T-PG's WF20PG filter at up to 12 months and the WHF3T-FG's WD-WF20FG at 6 to 12 months. For sediment ahead of any of these, the BG100 is a reusable 5 micron spin-down filter that you flush, rated 20 gpm, at $169.99.

What the certification line covers

Every model on this page lists NSF/ANSI 372, which caps the lead content of the materials. IAPMO R&T's directory lists the WHF3T-PG, WHF3T-FG, WHF2E-FC, WHF2E-PC and BG100 only in its lead-free certificate, in no NSF/ANSI 42, 53 or 58 record read, so the chlorine, iron and manganese claims on these pages are Waterdrop's own.

Your utility's Consumer Confidence Report, due each year by July 1, lists the regulated contaminants found in its water; if you did not get one, EPA's CCR search tool can find it. For a private well, EPA advises testing every year for coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH, through a laboratory certified for drinking water. Installation, well water, warranty and returns

Waterdrop's WHF3T-PG page says no plumber is needed, that the system connects to the main water lines and that it was tested under 300 PSI. Read the manual's installation section before you start.

Waterdrop's extended-warranty terms say well water needs pre-filtration and allow incoming water under 750 ppm TDS and 7 grains per gallon of hardness. These systems show a 1-year warranty badge. Waterdrop's service policy allows returns within 30 days of receipt for orders in the continental United States; you pay return shipping unless the return is for a quality issue, and items not returned in like-new condition carry a 10% restocking fee.
