Waterdrop lists fluoride among the substances its G3P600, G3P800, X12 and X16 reduce, and its pages tie each claim to IAPMO R&T certification for the claims on the Performance Data Sheet. IAPMO R&T's directory names fluoride as an NSF/ANSI 58 reduction claim for the WD-G3P600 and WD-G3P800; its NSF/ANSI 58 rows for the WD-X12 and WD-X16 name TDS only.

So the G3P600, $539.00, and the G3P800, $999.00, are the Waterdrop models whose listing names fluoride; on the X12, $1,299.00, and the X16, $1,999.00, the fluoride line is Waterdrop's own claim. Prices are one-time, as read on October 14, 2026, with filters extra.

Models that print a lead-free line only

Waterdrop's K6 and T4-A pages also list fluoride among reduced substances, but the only certification each prints is NSF/ANSI 372, which caps lead in the materials and is not a reduction claim. Waterdrop's Direct Connect page lists chlorine, odor, sediment and heavy metals, not fluoride.

What an RO system adds under the sink

Both listed models are tankless RO systems whose spec lines say "Electricity Required: Yes", so they need an outlet under the sink as well as a drain connection. Waterdrop rates the G3P600 at 2:1 and the G3P800 at 3:1, gallons of treated water per gallon sent to the drain.

EPA's WaterSense page says a typical point-of-use RO system sends five gallons or more to the drain for every gallon of treated water; Waterdrop's ratios are its own figures. G3P600 vs G3P800 compares the two models.

Check your water report first

Your utility's Consumer Confidence Report, due each year by July 1, lists the regulated contaminants found in its water; if you did not get one, EPA's CCR search tool can find it. For a private well, EPA advises testing every year for coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH, through a laboratory certified for drinking water. Decide from the report or the lab result whether fluoride is on your list at all.
