Waterdrop lists microplastics among the reduced substances on its G3P600, X12 and X16 pages, and ties the claim to the Performance Data Sheet of each model. The G3P800 page's list does not name microplastics, and none of the IAPMO R&T directory rows read for these models names a microplastics claim: their NSF/ANSI 58 rows name TDS and, for the G3P600, fluoride, cadmium, barium, radium 226/228 and lead.

So the microplastics line is Waterdrop's own claim on each page.

As read on October 14, 2026, the G3P600 was $539.00, the X12 $1,299.00 and the X16 $1,999.00, one-time prices with filters extra. All three are tankless RO systems under the sink that need an outlet and a drain connection, rated 600, 1200 and 1600 GPD.

Waterdrop's G3P800 page says its 0.0001μm RO membrane reduces over 1,000 contaminants; that is Waterdrop's description, not a listed claim.

What to ask for before you buy

Waterdrop ties each reduction claim to the model's Performance Data Sheet. The G3P600 and X16 pages link a file titled as a specification sheet for reducing harmful substances; the X12 page's report button opens its user manual instead.

Read the sheet for the microplastics line and its test conditions before you rely on it.

Start from what your water report names

Your utility's Consumer Confidence Report, due each year by July 1, lists the regulated contaminants found in its water; if you did not get one, EPA's CCR search tool can find it. For a private well, EPA advises testing every year for coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH, through a laboratory certified for drinking water. A product card cannot tell you what is in your water.
